Southern Water Awards Dyno-Rod £40 Million Private Sewer Contract

Dyno-Rod has been awarded the £40m contract over four years to manage Southern Water’s 17,000km of sewers, when they are transferred over from private ownership on 1st October. As part of the four year contract, Dyno-Rod estimates that around 68,000 jobs will be completed each year. Dyno-Rod is the UK’s leading domestic drains expert and deals with 800,000 call outs every year.
Don Rogers, Private Sewers’ Transfer Director for Southern Water said, “We are delighted to appoint Dyno-Rod as manager of our private sewer contract. Ensuring a low impact on customer’s bills and efficient customer service was the key criteria when we made the contract award. We were impressed with Dyno-Rod’s approach to customer service and in particular their significant track record in dealing with customers in the Southern Water area. We look forward to working with Dyno-Rod on this project.”
